The Pixiebob Breed in TICA and ACFA

How it all began...

In 1985, Carol Ann Brewer started the Pixiebob breed. One of her foundation females was a cat named Pixie. Pixie not only had legendary heritage but also had a distinctively "wild look". She was covered with muted spotting on her reddish-fawn coat and had a very "wild face", reminiscent of a Bobcat. This look is what inspired the making of this breed.

It is our purpose, as members of the TICA Pixiebob Breed section, to see that these cats are recognized and valued for their unique "wild look" and their kind, gentle nature.
