The Pacific Northwest Outlaws (PNWO), a TICA Pixiebob Breed Club, have secured discount pricing for all PB/PL breeders! 

Breeders can subscribe monthly or annually as detailed below.  Be sure to use the corresponding promo code when signing up!

This global pedigree database solution allows us to share pedigrees, traits, health and other data with all other Pixiebob TCSnet.us subscribers.  Pedigrees can be generated in a variety of formats, including pictures, traits and so much more!

How to sign up

ANNUAL subscription rate, use Promo Code 50559
First year will be $79.90 (instead of the normal $95.95 – this rate will be going up a little next month due to increased server fees)

After the first year they will get a 15% discount from the normal annual rate for as long as they maintain their subscription.

MONTHLY subscription rate, use Promo Code 50669
First month will be $6.99 (instead of the normal $9.95 – this rate will be going up a little next month due to increased server fees)

After the first month they will get a 10% discount from the normal monthly rate for the next 60 months.

Instructions:

1. Go to http://www.tcsnet.us/ and click the Sign Up Now button.
2. Read the information on that page and click Next.
3. Enter your email address and click Continue.
4. Enter your name and address in the Customer Identification window and click Continue.
5. Verification has been Emailed - Thank you. You may close this window now; the process will continue with the link you will receive in email.  We have mailed you the verification URL. When you receive this email click on or paste in the link to continue with the signup process.
6. Go to your email program and find the email from service@mbfs.com with the subject line of "Email Verification for The Cattery Standard™ .NET" Open this email.
7. Click the link in the email or paste it into your web browser.
8. The page you are direct to allows you to select your password...select it and click Continue. (If you get an error page, then your cookies may be disabled in your browser. Go into Internet Explorer and pull down the Tools Menu-Choose Internet Options-Click the Privacy Tab-Set the slider to the bottom...."Accept all cookies"-Click Okay---Try again)
9. Select the billing increment (this is the frequency that your credit card will be automatically billed for this service) and select the program options that you would like. Enter the Promo Code in the proper box. Then click Continue.
10. Read the License Agreement and either click "I Agree" to continue....or "I do not agree" (which will end the order).
11. Fill in your credit card information and click "Bill Me Now".
12. Once you receive a receipt showing that you have paid for tcs.net,
13. Go to http://www.tcsnet.us/ - on the left hand side of the page, click on "Log In to tcs.net".
14. Fill in your email address and password
15. Click the Log In button.

We suggest you look up cats in your pedigrees before you start entering anything - many may already exist and we would like to avoid duplicates and the maintenance associated.  Consistent use of the database fields by all breeders will help to make all the features and power of this tool a benefit to the Pixiebob breed.

How to enter a cat and get a pedigree

We suggest using some of the fields creatively in order to have specific data displayed on your pedigrees, like this example (click to enlarge)

Of course, for consistency, everyone should use these fields as outlined here:

1.  Look up your cat (or a Sire or Dam in one of your pedigrees)

Click Cats and you should see My Cats - click the Kitty Sleuth button.

Enter the Name or other details of the cat you want to look up.

A list of cats matching your search criteria will be returned - click on the Reg. Name of the cat you wish to get pedigree and cat info for.

When you open the Cat Information record, you must fill the fields out as shown to get a pedigree with the details display on the sample above.

Creatively used fields:
Call name prints on the pedigree - enter details about feet, pattern, tail here for pedigree printing purpose only.  These traits will also be part of the cat's Profile for use with other features of this online program.  Call name may be listed in comments, if you wish.

Select the Primary Registry out of the dropdown menu.  Enter color and eye color details in the corresponding fields.  IMPORTANT:  Use the lookup button to search for the Sire and Dam BEFORE you enter a name manually.  Try several search terms in an effort to be sure the Sire and/or Dam you need is not available and must be entered manually.

After you have completed the details for the cat/kitten, to get a pedigree click the MegaPed button.

This will open a screen where you set the properties of the pedigree you'd like to print.

The first tab on this screen is called "Setup."  This is where you can change layout, page orientation, format settings like number of generations, etc.

The second tab, called "Fields", is where you select what fields of information you would like to print on your pedigree.  To get a pedigree like the Sample pedigree shown here, select the settings as displayed in this screen shot.  Of course, if you'd like something different feel free to change settings as you see fit for the intended purpose.

Select the file type you would like, picture vs. PDF and your pedigree will display in your browser.

As you will see, this tool also offers the ability to enter medical data, dates and results, show titles and many more things to help you manage your cattery and breeding program like a professional!

The data collected and stored is online and stored with TCS and not any one individual breeder.  You can upload data from your desktop software version of this solution but there is no download of data available.  The online solution allows you to not worry about database maintenance, computer crashes, upgrades and the like.  You simply login from any internet connection and have access to your pedigrees (and all the PBs entered) and any other details that you choose to enter and have stored for your cats.
